Prudential is a leading insurance company specializing in individual and group life protection as well as health insurance. With a strong tradition in the industry, its business model places a special emphasis on Life Planners, a group of highly trained professionals dedicated to providing personalized solutions and expert advice to their clients.

The Life Planners utilize various digital tools to manage and plan their commercial activities. However, Prudential identified the need for a comprehensive solution that not only facilitated the organization of visits and events with potential clients but also integrated seamlessly with other key systems, such as the digital policy request platform.

DirMOD took on the challenge of developing a web and mobile application, called Success Planner, enabling Life Planners to optimize the planning of their commercial activities for a more agile and efficient experience. Additionally, this tool was integrated with a policy digitalization system, accelerating issuance times and reinforcing Prudential’s focus on digital transformation.

For this project, DirMOD, as an AWS Advanced Partner, designed and implemented a robust and hybrid technological solution for iOS and Android devices, integrating AWS services and leading technologies.

Amazon RDS with SQL Server was implemented for secure and scalable data storage and management. The microservices-based architecture ensured efficient real-time synchronization between the Life Planners’ digital tools, further enhanced with AWS API Gateway for managing communications. For the web and mobile interface, Angular and Ionic were used, while the backend was developed with .NET. Additionally, the secure distribution of the application on corporate devices was carried out through MobileIron, providing Life Planners with a unified and efficient digital experience that allows them to manage and plan their activities with seamless integration to Prudential’s other applications.

Through the strategic use of key technologies and AWS services, DirMOD delivered an innovative and high-performance solution, reaffirming its commitment as an AWS Advanced Partner to delivering excellence in technological solutions.
